 Vblog#2 Hello, my name is Rubi Almonte and I interviewed my brother Ricardo Almonte he is an ELL yet, he is also a second-grade bilingual teacher. Down below I will write his responses on how he teaches and approaches ELL students in his classroom.      As a 3-year 2nd-grade teacher, he has seen many different students and has worked most of his teaching career with ELL students.  The questions that I used were from our textbook research activities.  One of the questions that I asked him was, about what approaches or methods he uses in his classroom? He answers it by saying the approaches or methods he uses in his classroom are the usage of their background knowledge. An example he gave me was the usage of images when introducing new vocabulary for his students to be able to grasp what the lesson was going to be about.
